Meet Joyce
I have a varied portfolio, and no two appointments are the same. The core of my work is teaching makeup and makeup for corporate events, but I also work regularly on photoshoots – fashion, commercial, business branding and bridal – and I also offer lessons, workshops and one-to-one tutorials in makeup, skincare and beauty. I write for various magazines and blogs, I am a regular guest on BBC Radio Berkshire.
What am I most often asked? Well, that would be “Can you make me look younger?” and the answer is yes, the right makeup technique and the right products, applied by the right person, will take years off you.
I love to make people smile and have been told that I am a calming influence, which is why I am so booked up with weddings, I suppose. I rely entirely on word of mouth for my business and I am very fortunate to be as busy as I am.
I’m completely flexible and love new places, new people and new things. If you’d like any more information about me and my work, just holler!

Fun facts about me
-
Travel
Travel is a deep-rooted passion of mine and I have been lucky enough to travel to some amazing destinations for work and for pleasure. This year I fulfilled one of my life-long dreams when I travelled through Japan.
-
Gin
I love gin (and coffee, but not at the same time) and would happily drink gin for breakfast if I could.
-
Yuk
I’m terrified of bananas and have no idea where it came from, so if I am coming round to your house for a consultation, you need to put those bad boys away!
Charity work
I am a big believer in giving back and have supported a few charities over the years. I volunteer for Look Good Feel Better and work with cancer patients at Reading and Newbury hospitals whenever I can and whole heartedly support my daughter’s charity Cianna’s Smile.
